TheKordárna history of the production of woven reinforced geosynthetics is based on the 60-year old tradition of the development and production of technical fabrics in Kordárna, a.s. The development and production of our own geosynthetics started at the beginning of the 1990s. The development and production of geosynthetics stemmed from the efforts of Kordárna to diversify their production program outside the area of rubber textiles to the area of reinforced geotextiles. At the beginning of the development, one of the main partners of the company was Polyfelt GmbH which distributed geogrids under the business name Rock® G.

In the production we use our experience and technological know-how for the production of technical fabrics. We produce a complete assortment of woven reinforced geogrids, geocomposites and geotextiles based on high-strength polyester and polypropylene. These geosynthetics are used, e.g. for stabilisation of non-stable beds, fillings and asphalt surfaces.
Geosynthetics from our production very quickly found their application in construction work in the Czech Republic, Slovak Republic, Poland, Hungary, Romania, Ukraine and the Baltic countries, as well as Germany, Austria, Italy, the UK, Ireland, Spain, Greece, Belgium, Denmark and Norway and other non-European countries.
Our high-quality production is certified according to ISO 9001 by the company Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance.
